oPulse and User Tiers

Conducting IDOs and public sales on launchpads—particularly for high-quality projects—often results in oversubscription, with user demand and available capital far exceeding the allocation for the round. This makes IDOs highly competitive, with many participants competing for limited spots. To ensure fairness and attract the right community members, it is essential to establish clear mechanisms for prioritizing users during allocation and token distribution.

What is oPulse and Why Do I Need It?

oPulse is a point-based system that measures a user’s contribution to the ecosystem and is used to determine which users receive benefits. It increases both the chances and sizes of allocations in OruxAI launches, while enhancing distribution to active participants within the ecosystem. By accumulating oPulse, users advance through tiers - the higher the tier, the greater the benefits and allocation opportunities.

Beyond allocations, oPulse also influences a user’s governance power and voting weight as OruxAI advances toward decentralization and community-driven processes. It further determines the weighting of participation rewards (see Reward Distribution). By rewarding long-term commitment, oPulse incentivizes the involvement of individuals who are most likely to align with the platform’s mission and projects.

How do I get oPulse?

oPulse is accrued by either staking or locking the $ORUX token (see Staking). Alternatively, $ORUX can also be farmed through LP token staking, allowing users to earn oPulse from farming positions (see Liquidity Provision – Farming). The longer $ORUX is locked or staked, the more oPulse is accumulated, up to a defined cap.

oPulse can be tracked on our website using the dashboard or the staking page. You will see a share with the various tiers, as well as a slider bar showing how far to each tier.

User Participation Tiers

User benefits within the OruxAI ecosystem are categorized and allocated based on oPulse Tiers. These tiers are participation levels differentiated by the amount of oPulse a user has accumulated. They provide a straightforward mechanism to segment benefits and offer clear goals for users aiming to grow their oPulse balance.

The specific benefits granted through oPulse Tiers include:

  • Increased Allocation Chances: Higher tiers provide greater odds of receiving an allocation in IDO private rounds.

  • Maximum Allocation Sizes: Access to larger allocation sizes in IDO private rounds, applicable to both guaranteed and lottery-based models.

  • Tier-Specific Perks: Additional benefits at certain tier levels, such as tradable allocation NFTs (see NFT Allocations V2), shorter cooldown periods, and more.

The Future of Tiers and Allocations

Our plans for the future include evolving each oPulse Tier, adapting them to modular launches, and introducing additional benefits. These tiers will provide varying levels of access and perks across different launch modules, such as early entry into premium vaults and increased deposit caps in lockdrops.

OruxAI will also implement mechanisms to strengthen access for long-term-focused users. This will include tier boosters and enhanced launch privileges for active participants, long-term holders, and committed contributors—ensuring closer alignment between quality users and the projects they support.
