Lottery System
As outlined in Guaranteed Allocations, a dynamic portion of tokens—typically ranging between 20% and 50%—is reserved exclusively for guaranteed allocations.
The remaining tokens are allocated to the OruxAI lottery system, described on this page. Importantly, users can qualify for both a Guaranteed Allocation and a Lottery Allocation. This dual approach is designed to ensure fairness and promote a more balanced distribution of tokens among participants in the fundraising process.
During fundraising, the non-guaranteed portion of funds (including any undistributed amounts from the guaranteed pool) is allocated to the lottery, ensuring broader token distribution.
The total raised through the lottery varies by round. Participants receive lottery tickets based on their oPulse Tier:
Example: A Tier 1 user receives 1 ticket, while a Tier 3 user receives 9 tickets.
Tickets are then selected at random through a trusted randomness engine to secure allocations.
If allocations remain unfilled, the process is repeated—prioritizing higher-tier users—until all allocations are distributed. Users can review their allocation chances for each IDO during registration.
Example: Level 2 Ticket Allocation
John, as a Tier 2 user, receives 2 lottery tickets under the described mechanics. His likelihood of winning at least one allocation depends on the total number of participation tickets in the pool and the total allocation tickets available.
For example, if there are 1,000 participation tickets in total and 500 allocation tickets available, John’s probability of securing at least one winning ticket is 50%.
Bonus Lottery Tickets
Both active users and OruxAI Ambassadors (see Ambassador Program) are rewarded with bonus lottery tickets to increase their chances of winning allocations.
Users can earn 1 to 5 bonus tickets by participating in tasks, initiatives, or campaigns.
Bonus tickets are valid for one year and can be used in any lottery.
Tickets may also be minted as tradable NFTs, allowing users to sell or exchange them.
To activate these tickets, users must still meet the base requirements of the IDO.
